Anna Gudbrands is an Icelandic cinematographer with a background in fine art and photography.  

She works across commercials, music videos, documentaries and narrative, bringing her unique eye to each project, leading with emotion and drawing inspiration from her past experiences in the worlds of art and fashion.  

She studied at London’s Central Saint Martin’s College of Art, creating a strong artistic foundation and vision which she continues to enjoy developing within the world of film.

Currently based in LA,   Anna works worldwide, wherever each project takes her.

Anna’s work has most recently been showcased in American Cinematographer Magazine as a part of Jay Holben’s award winning Shot Craft column, for the spec commercial Jaguar: 90 Years by Legacy.

‘Focus on Lenses’ where she speaks about her creative use of zoom lenses in her work on commercials and music videos.

Other recent accolades include awards for the documentary short ‘Fragments’  (Ep 1) directed by Melodie Roulaud. The film garnered a NOWNESS ‘Pick of  the Day” as well as travelling the world, screening at multiple film festivals.
